EDITAL DE SELEÇÃO DE ARTIGOS CIENTÍFICOS PARA A REVISTA COGNITIO V.9/CALL FOR PAPERS — COGNITIO JOURNAL (JAN–APR 2026 ISSUE)

DIRETRIZES PARA AUTORES(AS)
As colaborações deverão consistir em artigos científicos originais e inéditos, contendo relatos de pesquisa ou de experiências fundamentadas teoricamente, com resultados inéditos de natureza empírica, experimental, bibliográfica ou documental.
Os trabalhos devem atender às disposições estabelecidas nas Normas Brasileiras de Documentação, conforme especificadas pela Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT).

Destacamos, entre elas:
NBR 6022 – Informação e documentação: Artigos em publicações periódicas impressas – Apresentação;
NBR 6023 – Informação e documentação: Referências – Elaboração;
NBR 6028 – Informação e documentação: Resumo – Apresentação;
NBR 10520 – Informação e documentação: Citações – Apresentação.
Os(As) autores(as) das contribuições devem possuir, no mínimo, o título de mestre(a). Serão admitidos artigos em coautoria entre mestres(as) e doutores(as). Os manuscritos submetidos serão avaliados por meio do sistema double blind peer review, garantindo o anonimato entre autores(as) e pareceristas durante todo o processo de avaliação. Cada artigo será analisado por dois(duas) avaliadores(as) ad hoc. Em caso de divergência entre os pareceres, o manuscrito será encaminhado a um(a) terceiro(a) avaliador(a), cuja decisão será considerada definitiva.
A revista Cognitio preza pela excelência acadêmica e científica de suas publicações, fundamentando-se nos princípios DEIA: Diversidade, Equidade, Inclusão e Acessibilidade. Em consonância com esses valores, o processo de avaliação incluirá o uso de ferramentas específicas para detecção de plágio, assegurando a integridade e originalidade dos trabalhos publicados.

DIRETRIZES PARA SUBMISSÃO DE TRABALHOS
O descumprimento das normas abaixo poderá implicar na rejeição do artigo para publicação no periódico.
1. Forma e Apresentação dos Artigos
1.1. As colaborações devem ter, preferencialmente, entre 10 e 20 páginas de conteúdo textual;
1.2. Os artigos devem ser enviados em arquivo com extensão .DOC por meio do sistema disponível no site da revista;
1.3. O arquivo deve estar formatado em papel tamanho A4, com espaçamento 1,5, sem espaço entre parágrafos, fonte Arial, tamanho 12 para o corpo do texto e 10 para as notas de rodapé;
1.4. As margens da página devem obedecer às seguintes medidas: superior e esquerda – 3 cm; inferior e direita – 2 cm; cabeçalho – 1,5 cm; rodapé – 1,0 cm;
1.5. O corpo do texto deve estar com alinhamento justificado;
1.6. A numeração das páginas deve estar posicionada na parte inferior direita.

2. Critérios de Autoria e Avaliação
2. 1. Cabeçalho
2.1.1. O título do artigo deve ser apresentado em negrito, caixa alta e centralizado, de forma concisa e sem abreviaturas. No caso de tradução de artigo, o nome do tradutor e o título original do trabalho devem constar em nota de rodapé.
2.1.2. O resumo deve ser redigido na mesma língua do texto, com até 250 palavras, explicitando o objetivo, método, resultados e conclusões do trabalho. Recomenda-se que seja estruturado em parágrafo único, conforme as disposições da NBR 6028:2003 da ABNT. O resumo deve estar localizado abaixo do nome do autor, separado por espaço duplo.
2.1.3. O resumo deve ser acompanhado de palavras-chave: expressões significativas que representem o conteúdo do documento, inseridas logo abaixo do resumo, separadas por ponto e finalizadas com ponto.

3. Texto
3.1. O conteúdo do artigo deve ser desenvolvido conforme o plano apresentado no resumo, estruturando-se preferencialmente em três partes: Introdução, Desenvolvimento e Conclusão.
3.2. As notas de rodapé, destinadas a indicações bibliográficas e comentários do(a) autor(a), devem ser numeradas sequencialmente, conforme sua ordem de aparecimento no texto.
3.3. A primeira linha de cada parágrafo deve estar recuada em 2,5 cm a partir da margem esquerda.

4. Elementos em Língua Estrangeira
Os elementos em língua estrangeira (título, resumo e palavras-chave) devem observar as disposições da norma NBR 6022 (ABNT, 2003b).
4.1. O título e o subtítulo, se houver, devem ser apresentados em inglês. Esses elementos devem ser inseridos na primeira página, logo após as palavras-chave redigidas na língua original do texto.
4.2. O resumo em língua estrangeira deve ser a tradução do resumo original para o inglês, sob o título Abstract.
4.3. Palavras-chave em língua estrangeira apresentar as palavras-chave em inglês (Keywords), inseridas logo após o abstract.

5. Ilustrações
5.1. Gráficos, mapas, tabelas, desenhos e etc. devem ser numerados e titulados tão perto quanto possível do elemento a que se refere, indicando o(a) autor(a), necessariamente, sua fonte.
5.2. As imagens deverão ser encaminhadas em arquivos separados do texto em alta resolução (300 dpi), nos formatos TIFF, JPG, CDR ou PSX.

6. Citações
6.1. As citações devem ser feitas em sistema AUTOR DATA, indicando os dados da fonte
conforme o seguinte modelo: ALBINO, 2011, p. 26;

6.2. As referências completas devem ser apresentadas em ordem alfabética no final do texto, de
acordo com as normas da NBR-6023 / ABNT e seguindo o seguinte modelo:

Livro:

As citações diretas de até três (3) linhas devem ser incluídas no parágrafo, entre aspas e sem alteração do tipo de letra;
6.3. As citações diretas de mais de três (3) linhas deverão ser destacadas do texto, inseridas com recuo de 4,0 cm da margem esquerda, em fonte Arial tamanho 10 e sem aspas;
6.4. Para outras informações acerca do uso de citações, o(a) autor(a) deverá consultar a NBR 10520:2002, da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT).

7. Referências
7.1. As referências consistem na indicação das fontes utilizadas pelo(a) autor(a) e expressamente mencionadas ao longo do texto. Devem ser apresentadas em ordem alfabética, com rigor e uniformidade.
7.2. As referências bibliográficas devem ser elaboradas conforme as disposições da norma NBR 6023:2002, da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT).
7.3. Modelo de referência bibliográfica de livro:
SOBRENOME DO(A) AUTOR(A), Nome do(a) autor(a). Título em negrito, edição. Local: Editora, data da publicação. Páginas, volume (nome, número de série), outros elementos que permitam identificar o documento (opcional).
7.4. Modelo de referência bibliográfica de  livro disponível online:

8. Identificação dos(as) Autores(as)
Para garantir o anonimato no processo de avaliação, os artigos devem ser apresentados
conforme as orientações abaixo:
8.1. O(A) autor(a) deverá enviar dois arquivos em formato Word:
Um sem qualquer identificação, ou seja, não deve conter o nome do/a(s) autor(es)/a(as) nem qualquer informação que permita sua identificação no corpo do texto;
Outro arquivo contendo os dados de identificação, conforme especificado no item seguinte.
8.2. As informações de autoria devem ser inseridas no formulário de submissão, incluindo:
Nome completo;
Titulação acadêmica;
Instituição de vínculo (em caso de múltiplos vínculos, indicar apenas o principal);
Endereço de e-mail;
Endereço postal institucional (com identificação da Instituição de Ensino/Pesquisa);
Telefone para contato (se necessário);
Código ORCID (caso o artigo seja aprovado, o código deverá constar na publicação).
8.3. As informações mencionadas nos itens 7.1 e 7.2 serão divulgadas na seção "Sobre os(as)
Autores(as)", em caso de aprovação e publicação do artigo.
9. Disposições Finais
9.1. Todos os direitos editoriais estão reservados à revista Cognitio e, em conformidade com a
legislação vigente sobre direitos autorais, devem ser rigorosamente respeitados.
9.2. Os(As) autores(as) são integralmente responsáveis pelo conteúdo das ideias apresentadas,
bem como pelo ineditismo e originalidade dos trabalhos submetidos.
9.3. Caso o artigo ou ensaio tenha recebido algum tipo de financiamento, essa informação deverá
ser indicada em nota de rodapé junto ao título do texto, na primeira página do manuscrito.
9.4. Não será concedida qualquer remuneração aos(às) autores(as). Em caso de publicação, cada autor(a) receberá um exemplar da revista Cognitio.
9.5. São aceitos artigos redigidos em Português, Inglês, Espanhol, Italiano, Francês e Alemão.
9.6. Após a conclusão do processo de avaliação, cada autor(a) receberá a ficha avaliativa
referente ao seu manuscrito (sem identificação do(a) parecerista), a decisão editorial e o
respectivo relatório de detecção de plágio.
10. Do Envio e Prazo
10.1. O envio dos artigos deve ser realizado por meio do sistema da revista Cognitio disponível
em: COGNITIO Submissões | COGNITIO: Direito, Políticas Públicas e Cidadania (tjpb.jus.br) ou,
alternativamente, pelo formulário: https://forms.gle/Qt789boHuVVT3DDeA.
10.2. O prazo final para envio dos artigos é 30 de março de 2026.

 

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Submissions must consist of original and unpublished scientific articles that present research findings or experiential reports, grounded in theoretical frameworks. These may include unpublished results from empirical, experimental, bibliographic, or documentary research.

All manuscripts must comply with the standards established by the Brazilian Documentation Norms, as specified by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT). The following norms are particularly highlighted:

• NBR 6022 (Information and Documentation – Articles in Printed Periodicals – Presentation);
• NBR 6023 (Information and Documentation – References – Preparation);
• NBR 6028 (Information and Documentation – Abstract – Presentation);
• NBR 10520 (Information and Documentation – Index – Presentation).

Authors of submitted contributions must hold at least a Master's degree. Articles written in co-authorship between Master's and PhD holders are also accepted.

All submissions will be evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity between authors and reviewers throughout the entire evaluation. Each manuscript will be assessed by two ad hoc reviewers. In the event of conflicting evaluations, the article will be forwarded to a third reviewer, whose decision will be considered final.

Revista Cognitio is committed to academic and scientific excellence, guided by the principles of DEIA: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. In alignment with these values, the review process will include the use of specific tools for plagiarism detection, ensuring the integrity and originality of the published work.

 

Guidelines for Article Submission, where NON-COMPLIANCE MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF PUBLICATION IN THE JOURNAL.

1.FORMAT AND PRESENTATION OF ARTICLES

1.1. Contributions should preferably be between 10 and 20 pages of text.

1.2. They must be submitted as a DOC file uploaded to the journal’s website system.

1.3. The file must be formatted in A4 size,

1.4 line spacing, no space between paragraphs, Arial font, size 12 for the main text and size 10 for footnotes.

1.5. Page margins must be: top and left – 3cm; bottom and right – 2cm; header – 1.5cm; footer – 1.0cm.

1.6. The body text must be justified.

1.7. Page numbers should appear at the bottom right corner of each page.

2.HEADER

2.1. Article title in bold, uppercase, and centered, concise and without abbreviations. If the article is a translation, the translator’s name and the original title must be included in a footnote.

 2.2. Content abstract written in the language of the text, with a maximum of 250 words. The abstract must clearly state the objective, method, results, and conclusions of the document, preferably structured in a single paragraph, in accordance with NBR 6028:2003 of ABNT. It should be placed below the author’s name, separated by double spacing.

2.3. The abstract must be followed by keywords: significant expressions representing the document’s content, placed immediately below the abstract, separated and ending with a period.

3.TEXT

3.1. Developed according to the plan presented in the abstract, divided into three main parts: Introduction, Development, and Conclusion.

3.2. Footnotes, intended for bibliographic references and author comments, must be numbered in the order they appear in the text.

3.3. The first line of each paragraph must be indented 2.5 cm from the left margin.

4.ELEMENTS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (title, abstract, and keywords) must comply with NBR 6022 (ABNT, 2003b).

4.1. Title and subtitle, if any, in a foreign language must be presented in English. These elements should be placed on the first page after the keywords written in the original language.

4.2. Abstract in a foreign language must be translated into English (Abstract).

4.3. Keywords in a foreign language must be translated into English (Keywords), placed immediately after the abstract.

5.ILLUSTRATIONS

5.1. Graphs, maps, tables, drawings, etc., must be numbered and titled as close as possible to the referenced element, with the author and source clearly indicated.

5.2. Images must be submitted in separate high-resolution files (300 dpi), in TIFF, JPG, CDR, or PSX formats.

6.CITATIONS

6.1. Citations must follow the AUTHOR-DATE system, indicating the source as in the following example: ALBINO, 2011, p. 26.

6.2. Full references must be listed alphabetically at the end of the text, in accordance with NBR-6023 / ABNT standards, following the models below:

6.3. Direct quotations of up to three (3) lines must be included within the paragraph, in quotation marks and without font changes.

6.4. Direct quotations longer than three (3) lines must be separated from the main text, indented 4.0 cm from the left margin, in Arial font size 10, and without quotation marks.

6.5. For further information regarding the use of citations, authors should consult NBR 10520:2002, issued by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).

7.REFERENCES

7.1. References consist of the sources used by the author and explicitly mentioned in the text. They must be presented in strict alphabetical order.

7.2. Bibliographic references must be formatted in accordance with the guidelines of NBR 6023:2002, issued by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).

 7.3. Example of a bibliographic reference for a printed book:

8. AUTHOR IDENTIFICATION

To ensure anonymity during the evaluation process, articles must be submitted as follows:

8.1. The author must submit TWO WORD DOCUMENTS: one without any identification — meaning no mention of the author(s)' name(s) within the body of the article — and another document containing the information specified in item 8.2.

8.2. Author identification details must be provided in the submission form, including: Full name; Academic title; Affiliated institution (if affiliated with more than one, list only the primary); Email address; Institutional mailing address (including the name of the educational/research institution); Contact phone number; and, if necessary, ORCID code, which must be included in the published version if the article is accepted.

8.3. The information provided in items 8.1 and 8.2 will be published in the "About the Authors" section if the article is accepted for publication

9.FINAL PROVISIONS

9.1. All editorial rights are reserved to Revista Cognitio, and must be strictly observed in accordance with copyright law.

9.2. Authors are solely responsible for the content of the ideas expressed and for ensuring the originality and unpublished nature of their work.

9.3. Authors must indicate whether the article or essay received any type of funding, by including a footnote next to the title on the first page of the manuscript.

9.4. No remuneration will be paid to the author(s). Each author will receive a copy of Revista Cognitio in case of publication.

9.5. Articles are accepted in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, French, and German.

9.6. Upon completion of the evaluation process, each author will receive the evaluation form for their manuscript (without reviewer identification), the editorial decision, and the corresponding plagiarism detection report
